Absolutely love this skort. So much so that I was crushed when I shrunk out of my old one. Happy to see RR still makes it and just walked out of REI with a brand new one, one size smaller! It can be dressed up a bit, or taken on a hike, and the inner short prevents chafing in even the ickiest of weather. 5+ stars, and seriously contemplating picking it up in a second color...

I'm a skort fan, and this is one of the best I've ever found. It has the looks of a fashionable skirt, and the stretch, breathability of sportswear. I like to wear it when I go to dinner, for work and play.
As a writer, I sometimes have interviews in rural areas, and I can look professional but still move freely while I climb in & out of a pick-up, shoot photos, climb ladders -- without fretting over modesty!
The shorts tend to stay in place, not ride up like some styles. As for fit, I'm curvy, and this is very forgiving. The waist sits very low, so there's a fine line between buying a size that fits and a size that's so big it will slip off without unzipping or will gape at the back. But overall, this is a hit.
Once again, thank you, Royal Robbins, for making clothes that fit real women with real curves, not stick figures!

This is a sporty skirt that you can wear for hiking or golfing..but it still feels stylish and is figure flattering. Good for an active day and then with some dressier shoes it can easily be dressed up to go out at night. The length is longer than a typical sports skort. I liked this because I will use it for travel and it is a little more conservative.

I love this skort! I only wore it once and it's in the laundry now but it didn't wrinkle despite riding around on a cruiser bike and it was cute enough to head out to the bars that night but functional enough for me to get on and off the bike. It has a very flattering fit and I will try and buy it in multiple colors now. I think it can easily be dressed up for work with no one the wiser that it's sports wear.
