Comments about Planet Bike Alloy Cage:
I have 4 of these & used these on my road, city and MTB bikes and they work as good if not better than any other cage I have used. They are easy to get your bottles in and out of and have held up without fail through the 4 years I have used them. Sure, there are prettier & lighter cages out there, but these are form over fashion without being ugly or highly priced.

Comments about Planet Bike Alloy Cage:
I bought a couple of these bottle cages when I got my new road bike last year since they looked good, seemed to accommodate different sized bottles well, and were cheap.
After about 2500 miles, one of the cages broke: the tubular metal is welded to the flat section in the middle that bolts onto the bike, and that weld failed. It was still able to hold my bottle in for the rest of my short ride, especially since the bottle was already pretty much empty, but had I been on a longer ride with a full bottle it might not have held in the bottle.
I took a closer look at the other cage and it seemed as though the welds may be starting to fracture in the same manner. Had it just been the one I probably would have just replaced it, but with the second one looking questionable I can't recommend them for anybody that puts on some decent miles. Around town for a few hundred miles a year, I'm sure they'd be fine.

Comments about Planet Bike Alloy Cage:
The instillation is a breeze and the wings are nice and solid but at the same time flexible enough to adjust for most any diameter bottle. Super grip and not too heavy for a metal cage. Great buy for the price!

Comments about Planet Bike Alloy Cage:
I really like my 1-liter sigg bottle and i could not find a cage that would fit it. This is a great cage that was slightly modified to fit it. If you carefully open the wings you can securely put your 1-litter sigg bottle in the cage. The bottle does not move at all.
My husband was so jealous of my finding that he got one for his.
