Comments about SRAM Rival Shifters / Brake Levers - 10-Speed:
Wasn't sure if I would like the double tap system, but it won me over. Only took a couple times shifting for me to be comfortable with it, very smooth. I've read reviews of older Rival shifters feeling flimsy, but these feel solidly built.
They're easily adjustable. Took a couple minutes to figure out what exactly I was doing, but after that it's very easy.

Comments about SRAM Rival Shifters / Brake Levers - 10-Speed:
I am an avid road cyclist, and put a lot of miles on doing longer tours. Bought my bike 2.5 years ago primarily for the frame - came with SRAM Rival 10-speed shifters and SRAM Force rear derailleur. Have replaced the derailleur (under warranty) because it locked up and sheared off the bike, thankfully not cracking my carbon frame, and now, just out of the 2-year warranty, the right shifter has broken, and will cost me a pile to replace. Shifting all along has been clunky and imprecise. I have Shimano Ultegra on my other bike - not a single problem for 7 years. I hardly ever even adjust the Ultegra components but am constantly needing to tinker with SRAM components that seem to get out of adjustment every week. Go Shimano!!
