Comments about Electra Quick-Release Wire Bike Basket:
This is the second time I have tried to post this??? The metal basket is secured by a poorly designed plastic slide mount which will break the first time the bike happens to tip over. In our case we were filling the tires with air. [...] This plastic bracket is clearly a weak point in the design and until they offer this part separately I suggest you stay away. To bad some companies insist on selling people parts they do not need. Unfortunatly these extra materials will sit on a self until they are disgarded and end up in a landfil???????? Not a very green consept.

Comments about Electra Quick-Release Wire Bike Basket:
I am loving my new bike basket. My daughter and I have been riding our bikes to the local supermarket and picking up 4-5 things, getting some exercise and enjoying ourselves. I love that the basket is very easy to click on and off.

Comments about Electra Quick-Release Wire Bike Basket:
I have a Townie that I love to ride all summer. This basket is perfect for going to school, the gym, or the grocery store for dinner. The quick release is handy too! It does bounce a little when going over bumps, which causes the screws to loosen a bit and some light objects to bounce right out. Overall it is sturdy and well worth the money. I first had a cheap basket I bought on sale at a local bike store but it quickly wore down and broke. This one has yet to show any signs of wear and tear.

Comments about Electra Quick-Release Wire Bike Basket:
I took a shot to see if this would work on my wife's Electra, "Karma" model. It wasn't listed as compatible, but it turned out to fit perfectly. If you're in doubt notice that the bracket has a lot of clearance in front of the handlebar, so I would assume it would work with almost any cruiser bike.
