Comments about Big Agnes Pumphouse Dry Sack/Pad Pump:
The Pumphouse Pad looked great, but for me it is a lot faster to blow it up normally. This may be good after a long hike, or for use on a small pad, but with my Big Agnes Insulated Air Core, it is extremely slow. I still use this stuff sack as a dry bag for my sleeping bag, but that's about it.

Comments about Big Agnes Pumphouse Dry Sack/Pad Pump:
Supposed to be a pump, stuff sack, dry sack, and pillow. As a pump, it's worthless. I can't get it to inflate the pad past the point where air pressure inside and outside are equal. The lack of a check valve lets the higher pressure inside flow back out while you refill the bag for the next pump. As a stuff sack, it's too heavy. As a dry sack, that little hole at the bottom with a string closure worries me. And as a pillow: fill it with air, seal it shut, and it's a good pillow for the whole 45 seconds it takes to deflate. Don't buy this.

Comments about Big Agnes Pumphouse Dry Sack/Pad Pump:
A very light weight and versatile piece of equipment. I use it to inflate my mattresses, inflate my packraft, as a dirty water bag for my gravity filter, for taking showers, and as a water repellent stuff sack.
When you are backpacking, low weight for multiple functions is a major objective. This device rates ahead of my bandana for top honors.
