Comments about Big Agnes Memory Foam Pad Kit:
If you want a comfortable night's sleep, combine this with a Big Agnes Q-Core and you're set. Some people on here have complained about a few things. Let me set those issues straight. Regarding size: This pad WILL fit any Big Agnes sleeping pad. The Q-Core SL is 3+ inches and it fits easily into it. Regarding surface: This is made to slide into a Big Agnes sleeping bag so the more slippery surface is intentional, or else it would be a pain to get into the bag. Coming from someone who has a Big Agnes bag, I wouldn't want it any other way.
The only reason this memory foam pad didn't get a perfect 5/5 from me is because of the net sack it comes with. It is a similar sack as the various sleeping pads from Big Agnes but because of the larger size, the only way to carry this is on the exterior of your rucksack. It is therefore exposed to the elements and being memory foam, you don't want it getting wet. Big Agnes should've included a water proof carrying sack so you could strap it to the outside of your rucksack without having to purchase a 3rd party sack.

Comments about Big Agnes Memory Foam Pad Kit:
Combine this cushion pad with the Big Agnes long & wide pad and put it inside the wide and long Big Agnes "Deer Park"30 degree down sleeping bag....man, oh, man....you are in for a most comfortable sleep. Now, this is all not very cheap but if you're serious about doing things right, this combination is the best, bar none. No more sliding off your pad several times a night and the width and length gives one enough room to change position/stretch out. My wife and I got the right and left bags, we connect the two systems, and it is as good as it can get. Period.

Comments about Big Agnes Memory Foam Pad Kit:
I got this to use with a different brand of 2.5" self-inflating pad and my Big Agnes "The Lost Ranger" sleeping bag. I love Big Agnes' pad-pocket system and had to give this memory foam "upgrade" a try.
Loading the inflatable pad into the memory foam pad's sleeve is easy, but loading it all into the sleeping bag will be somewhat awkward. If you're using a Big Agnes or other pad-pocket bag, you'll want to use an inflatable no thicker than 2.5". Any thicker and it won't fit with this memory foam pad. Memory foam comes in different densities; higher densities generally feel "cushier" but also weigh more. This pad is middle to lighter density so it's not too heavy to load onto a backpack.
Not only does it feel very comfortable and supportive, it helps boost the insulation against the cold of the ground.
While the mesh stuff sack it comes with is good for storage purposes, I'd rather use it with a more protective dry sack or siliconized sack.

Comments about Big Agnes Memory Foam Pad Kit:
Excellent possibility for the comfort I need to sleep well. However the incredibly slippery top cover guarantees a sleepless night. Agnes what were you thinking?
