These boots took me to a new level of skiing. Minor pain the first few times out but that ended up being that I didn't tighten the buckles enough, and liner required to be broken in around my ankles, even though I had them heat molded to my feet. My only minor complaint is that the blue color shows the scratches you get on the inside of the boots while my old black boots didn't.

For some reason these boots cause me terrible pain across my lower shin area. It gets so bad with the swelling that I can not ski. I will try and off load these and try different types. They felt fine when I tried them one and walked around in them but when I ski it hurts bad.

I never thought that good boots could make this much difference in my skiing. A big part was I had an REI boot expert help me try some on, and ended up getting a smaller size than I thought. I've been fighting cold feet, and needing to have my skis "canted" for 15 years, but not with these boots. At these prices it's a great buy.
