      I purchased this belt because I am tired of my leather belts wearing out after a couple months. I do a lot of outdoor activities and carry a Buck Knife, 9mm Pistol, Camera and Cell phone all on my belt. This belt is extremely durable and handles all my weight with out any issues.

            I have tried Bison Designs nylon/plastic buckle web belts , but like this and the cheaper "Black Dimension" Bison belts with metal black buckles much better. I wish REI could carry a good assortment of belt designs in Medium(was) and Large(now), but for years whenever i go into an REI store there are usually very few nylon belts such as this excellent brand to choose from. Attractive buckle and does not slip.
