Comments about Scarpa Spirit 4 Randonee Boots - Men's:
I bought these boots new last year. I've now used them for 20+ days and I never knew ski boots could be this great. They're as comfortable as my hiking boots going up and almost as stiff as my old performance Lange's going down. They're a little heavier than most 3 buckle models but I would rather shave ounces elsewhere if need be. I use them both in the back country and at the resort. Buy these.

Comments about Scarpa Spirit 4 Randonee Boots - Men's:
These boots are amazingly comfortable for the amount of power and control they provide. The heat moldable liner is the best and the two tongues provide a huge range of flex/stiffness adjustment. The boots are comfortable for climbing without skis and can use lightweight crampons when needed. I use Dynafit bindings on a pair of Atomic RT86 skis. This setup is EXTREMELY light. At the end of last season, I stopped using my alpine boots and skis at the resort in all but the most icy/hard pack conditions.
These boots can probably drive much bigger and heavier skis if needed. They are light enough for any backcountry excursion and are capable of doing a lot more.
