I notice that the online sizing charts do not match the various manufacturers' sizes. This particular boot has a lycra "sock" at the top of the entrance that makes it difficult to get the boot on and off easily and quickly. Order at least one size if not two sizes larger than you think you need. This boot would be good for trails with afew inches of snow as the lycra socks could substitute for gaiters.

Make sure you match the boots with the bindings. The following binding types are only compatible with boots of the same type: SNS, SNS-BC, NNN, NNN-BC, and possibly the pin-type.

I love these boots. I have Salomon bindings on all of my cross-country and touring skis because I used to get a pro deal on Salomon. These boots are ultra comfortable and in my opinion they blow Salomon boots out of the water as far as comfort and performance are concerned.

really like these boots--comfortable, good control. based on the other review, i ordered my normal size, plus a half size larger and they were huge! I usually a womens US 8.5, so according to size chart a UK 7, but the UK 6.5 fit the best!

One of the best things about the boot is the sok liner covers your ankle and keeps the snow out.
Comes off reasonably easy, the comfort afforded is worth a little extra effort to get the boot on. I'm very happy...

The boot is very stylish, and from others comments worked great for some people. The issue that I had was that this pull on boot has a lace that only encompasses the top of the foot. As such there was no way to get a good tight fit around my ankle. I have a very average size foot, yet everytime I stepped forward my heel lifted. The REI clerk where I picked up the boots shared "this is why it's hard to buy ski boots online" :-)
