    Comments about Alpina Control LW Cross-Country Skis - Women's:

    Bought these winter of '08. Went to High Point XC Ski Center in northern NJ MLK weekend. I had skied a couple of times before with a rental. Found these smooth and the glide was nice in track. I could feel the skis had a good grip on the snow. Even going up small hills offered a nice hold. I found turning in bends difficult, but this may be because I'm learning how to do this. Will experiment this winter off track at state parks. So don't know how they perform under those conditions yet.
