Comments about END Stumptown 12 oz. Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
Heard about the brand and thought I would give them a try. Right out of the box, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. So far I have only worn them a few times, but they seem very durable. Very light weight, and very stylish. I have been pleasantly surprised so far.

Comments about END Stumptown 12 oz. Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
These shoes feel great right out of the box, for a new shoe company - they got it right from the start.
I have not put down tons of miles on them, but so far they feel much better than other shoes out of the box.
I will be looking for END for my next pair of outdoor shoes as well.

I've had these for three months and really like them a lot. They're comfortable on and off the road.

Comments about END Stumptown 12 oz. Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
They weigh nothing. They're comfortable and seem to be well constructed. I'd have preferred a more subtle choice of colors, but these have their appeal. I'd buy stock in END if I could.

Comments about END Stumptown 12 oz. Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
I'm really hard to fit, so when I chanced upon these and they actually didn't feel sloshy or too tight, I was thrilled. I've so far purchased 3 pair and have been happy with the performance. I'd like a bit more forefront cushioning but they are a trail runner and the cushioning seems to be on par with other trail shoes.
Here's what I've used them for:
--Training for and walking a marathon & a half (Avon Walk--a marathon one day, a half-marathon the next). Excellent for this purpose.
--Hiking in Yosemite. Hikes of 6-12 miles, with 300-3,200 feet of elevation change. Decent traction on the granite, better than most sneakers, still watch it as they aren't a boot and you could slide especially on dusty trails/loose dirt and rock.
--Running. I'm about to get some actual road shoes (also END) because I need some more cush.
--Gym (treadmill etc.)
--Work (dorky looking but comfy)
I have a narrow, fairly low-volume foot, with a narrow heel. This has a deep heel cup, narrow-ish and is one of the only shoes I've found that does not totally tear up my feet. It also has almost no padding in the back of the heel cup, which for me is a plus. Otherwise I compress/wear through that in a month and the shoe is unusable and becomes a blister factory. The toe box is wide enough that I rarely get blisters on the side of my toes. Shoe is flexible and very lightweight.
And it's eco-friendly.

Comments about END Stumptown 12 oz. Cross-Training Shoes - Men's:
Well, I was up for giving the new comer a try. I have put about 100 miles on them, walking around town, hiking on dirt (and some snow), and running.
I just returned them. The plastic heal rubbed through the material and made them totally unwearable. without blood.
Bummer.
Also, the material was pretty in-expensive and ripped in a few places. It didn't bother me, but coupled with the heel issue they just won't work.

Use them basically for walking. Comfortable and lightweight. They will get wet though.
