Beware: I typically wear a small or medium, and ordered this shirt in medium. It was far too small -- in addition to begin tight in the shoulders, it was very short. I would suggest ordering a size up, especially if you have a long torso.
The shirt seemed fine otherwise.

I read the previous review and ordered a large when I normally wear a medium. The large fits well with enough coverage on the bottom. This shirt is surprisingly soft, and though I haven't actually hiked in it yet I expect it will breathe well. Its the best of both worlds, soft like cotton, but won't feel like you are wearing a wet sponge when wet. I love plastic clothing!

This does run small
I ordered a size up and it was perfect.
It is nice and light wieght for athletics or casual wear on warm days or for layering.

I bought this for a trip to Death Valley and Yosemite with lots of hiking and camping. It does run small, so keep that in mind. I normally wear a small and this small fits, but is fairly snug. It was great for hiking as it "breathed well". It is also very stylish with the "princess" seams and I will wear this shirt for casual wear too.
