    My wife loves how this hat looks on my son (we have the orange one). The hat fit our 9 month old perfectly and never seemed to slip off or down over his eyes. It was just right in its stretch and wasn't too tight. The wide band allows room to grow, you just unroll the band a little bit as his head gets bigger. And you can remove the fuzzy ball on top without damaging the rest of the hat, if you don't like it.

    The mittens are a bit thin compared to the hat, but it is really tough to keep them on a 8-9 month old no matter what the temperature.
