The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
This bag is good for every day use. It is an improvement from the veer because of the slightly larger size. It is just the right size to hold: a glasses case, books, checkbook, lunch, and a folded rain jacket. The phone pocket on the strap is very convenient for easy access which is a major plus. The fabric is water proof which is good because nobody wants to worry about wet stuff. The one bummer about this product in my opinion is weak velcro. Nothing lasts forever but I think they could have made it more industrial. The major major major plus is that it really doesn't matter, the warranty on osprey is good. They say that even if the bag was made in 1975 they will fix it. If they cant fix it then they will replace it. Cant beat that!

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
I love this bag. I have always had a bad habit of taking too much stuff, because there was space...then the bag was too heavy. This bag is large enough to carry my netbook, a rain jacket, my coffee mug and all the daily junk that usually resides in my pockets. It carries extremely well, whether I am on foot or on bike. The described pocket on the strap is a perfect fit for my sunglasses, while there is a zipper pocket just below the strap that holds my phone and/or mp3 player. I'm also really partial to the hooks along the strap that hold the headphone cable in place, keeping it from flopping around and getting tangled in everything else. I find that I'm using this bag for everyday use, simply because it will carry what is needed in one place, without letting me overload myself with things I don't actually need. I considered for several weeks whether or not I actually wanted the bag, and in the end, I have been more than pleased with the purchase.

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
I have had this bag for over three years and it has been EVERYWHERE across the globe! I've seen some complaints that it is too small, but this is not a messenger bag, it's a "purse." It has undetectable pockets where I even forget where I put something. As for the velcro...I haven't had a problem with it not sticking. I must confess that I don't really use that part anyway...it's for quick access to hold credit cards and pens. Personally, I keep my credit cards in a wallet in the zipped pocket, so they don't get lifted from my bag without my knowledge. My favorite feature is the strap. It's totally adjustable, but more important, it's ergonomic so it stays where you want it, either in front or back. There is an extra waist belt that keeps it from sliding forward while biking, or to help take the load off your shoulder a bit while light hiking. I have even used this back to help support my one year old while he is on my hip! Did I mention I have been asked by countless people where I got it? It is really the perfect size for the person not wanting to take the kitchen sink with them everyday.

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
I needed a bag that would be large enough to haul around my DSLR camera, including a spare lens, without obviously looking like a camera bag during a recent trip to the UK. The bag held the camera bits, as well as an iPad2, snacks, bottle of water, and a few small items. The weight was better distributed when I used the waist strap. May not be an issue for those who aren't petite. Well designed, sturdy bag that was not treated gently over a 9 day travel period.

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
I'll start off with a disclaimer: I got to REI about 10 minutes before the store closed, so I was rushed and didn't take the time I should have.
This is a great pack: It's well-made (enough that the manufacturer warranties it for life), very light-weight, and doesn't have wild colors that make it stand out in a professional setting. If you're looking for something to carry around that's not a standard backpack, this could be "the one."
Its biggest con (to me, at least) is that it's smaller than it appears. While it has plenty of pockets, openings, etc. (the water bottle compartment is a nice addition), the main area is a bit small. If you have the time and ability to do so, check this out in a store and bring with you a "typical" load to test. I regularly need to carry a netbook and a legal-size clip box, and while from the outside it looks large enough to accomodate those, it wasn't. The bottle compartment also does not fit a standard bottle enough to close. I've included pictures to help describe my scenario...
Again, I rushed the purchase, and didn't take the time to do a simple test to see if the product was right for me... With only one negative that I can see, I *would* recommend this to anyone needing a smaller pack!

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
This pack is perfect for airline carry-on, and for carrying around all the items you need for sight-seeing on vacation, i.e., camera, guide book, maps, cellphone, etc. It has a convenient pocket for just about everything in an easy to pack, easy to carry, and easy-to-locate-items format. I have been looking for this pack for years, and now Osprey has made it.

Comments about Osprey Warp Verticle Shoulder Bag:
This bag replaces a waist pack with a shoulder strap. It is much more comfortable and holds lots more stuff. It is almost as big as a standard messenger bag in length and width and a little deeper. I use it for trips to the city or vacations where a backpack isn't quite right. It holds as much as a backpack but in a more " city like" form. It is extremely well made. Even though this pack is made from largely recycled materials, you can't tell. The fact that they can make an Eco friendly product of this quality is an added bonus. Osprey also has a bulletproof warranty program. The only flaw for me is the length of the waist strap. I am a big guy, and another couple of inches would allow better fit/fit over outerwear. I still love the bag even without the use of the waist strap. Osprey will be my first choice for future pack purchases.
