Comments about Ride VXn Snowboard Bindings - Women's:
After weeks of researching bindings and hoping to find a good deal, I was so excited to get these bindings as my boots are Ride, and I figured they would be a great combination.
Unfortunately I didn't get any further than screwing the bindings on my board before the plastic adjustment lever on one binding broke off completely, and became distorted on the second binding. I had maybe adjusted the lever no more than 5 times before this happened. Seems to be a design fault and I was really disappointed as these bindings LOOKED and felt amazing.

Comments about Ride VXn Snowboard Bindings - Women's:
I bought this because I thought I got a really good deal out of it. I got it professionally mounted on my board. I rode it on the first round and it was just okay. Once I got to the bottom I made sure the screws were still tight, so it was tight. Getting closer towards the end of my second my bindings started making the clicking noise so i fell I felt that my bindings were loose so I unstrapped my bindings and a screw fell off. Bottom line is these pair are not reliable.

Comments about Ride VXn Snowboard Bindings - Women's:
Purchased these for my beginner wife November 2009.
The left ankle strap broke on the second day out. The spring holding the ratchet mechanism broke.
My wife had a bad fall when the strap came loose. She is just a beginner, so she wasn't going too fast or doing anything extreme. This kind of failure on an aggressive ride could be even more dangerous.
REI of course replaced the binding without question.
I have a pair of Men's Ride LX bindings from 2004-2005 that seem to be made better and have more confidence inspiring ratchets. That's even considering the LX should be a lower model than the VXn.
I guess in the last few years Ride's quality has gone down. Maybe this is on par with the manufacturing move to China all the companies made.
