Comments about WrightSock Cushioned DLX Socks:

First off - the size is good. I wear a 12.5/13 and have narrow feet, and XL fits well. I do prefer my socks to be a little bit longer as this one is barely visible with running shoes on.

The sock completely feels like having 2 pairs of socks on. Does this stop blistering? I don't know, because I don't have them, but I have experienced two major disadvantages.
Number 1 - the sock bunches up and has a very thick seam around the big toe. If your shoes are a bit tight, you cannot wear them.
Number 2 - doing stretches after the run without your shoes on, is impossible with these socks. The first layer stays on the foot and totally slips within the second layer (which sticks to the ground/mattress).

The last gripe (which doesn't really bother me, but should be mentioned) is that these socks aren't really cushioned. They are a bit thick, but it is not in the form of cushioning. It's like having two thin pairs of socks on.

Overall, I'll still wear them when all the other socks are in the laundry, but it is unusable for anything over 5 miles.

      First, what is the point of the mesh on the top of the sock if there is another layer beneath it? This isn't aiding in cooling your feet since there is essentially another sock between the mesh and your feet. Second, couldn't agree more with the reviewer before me, these socks make it feel like you're wearing two pairs of liner socks. It's really uncomfortable, very hard to adjust to that when running. I don't have any use for these, I gave them away already. Definitely won't buy this brand again, I hope REI notices this trend and finds a better running brand.

      Bottom line: Someone came up with a gimmick to sell socks, these are not worth buying.
