Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Bike Jacket - Women's:
I'm a 6-foot tall, curvy woman, and hadn't been able to wear women's gear from Pearl Izumi...until now. This jacket is long enough to cover my entire torso and arms on my ride, and it's tailored for a woman's shape - smaller through the waist and wider towards the hips. I bought it to serve as my "every day" bike commuting jacket, and it has held up well through fall, winter, and now spring. It provides some warmth (you still need a layer or two underneath for truly chilly rides), and good wind protection. The zip off sleeves/vest feature is a bonus in warmer weather, because you can still have the neon yellow visibility, without the additional bulk/warmth. THANK YOU P.I. for adding this fit to your women's lineup!

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Bike Jacket - Women's:
I bought this jacket to replace a Gore that, while fantastic in the rain, didn't have enough versatility or pockets to serve my needs. So far it's been everything I wanted in a cycling jacket.
The center-chest zip pocket is perfect for a cell phone and wallet. The side zip pockets can't hold a lot, but are well-constructed and good for occasional needs. It lacks a back pocket, which surprised me at first, but I like not having the additional bulk and I'm usually riding with a jersey anyway -- it has enough room around the hips that I can load my jersey pockets and still zip it up.
I am a woman with curves, and many jackets don't seem to take a normal woman's shape into account. This one fits well through the shoulders, bust, and hips without looking like a balloon in the middle. The sleeves are a good length even when fully extended on the handlebars. It provides full coverage in the back.
I gave it a Nikwash treatment when I first got it home and it has done well in light rain so far. It's not sold as a waterproof jacket, but I think it will still hold up for commutes in the rain -- just maybe not heavy downpours. It doesn't provide a lot of warmth, but can be comfortably worn over a fleece shell or a heavier long-sleeved jersey, making it more versatile than warmer jackets.
The zip-off sleeves are really nice -- there's a breathable back placket that is exposed mesh when the sleeves are removed to give better ventilation. You can also just unzip the front of the sleeves to get some pit ventilation when it's needed. Having it double as a vest means I can retire my old reflective vest in warm weather.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Bike Jacket - Women's:
I bought this jacket because my husband has the same one and when I was riding behind him I kept remarking to myself how visible he was. That screaming yellow color really stands out. Also it repels water and my other jacket didn't.
