Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
Screaming Yellow - safety first!
Lots of pockets, more than I need - nice to have tho.
Detachable one-piece sleeves great combo, easy to remove and easy to connect.
Rear mesh/vent is very nice to help keep you cool on sunny days.
Does provide protection from rain, not entirely rain proof but enough to keep you relatively dry until you need to get where you are going.
Kinda pricey, but worth it.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
I live in Eastern Washington. I bought bought this jacket for protection from wind, rain, and cold while riding from November through April. I rode twice in 35 degree weather with this jacket on. Despite its very light material, and only a long sleeved tee shirt underneath, i stayed remarkably warm. Because the material is so light, I was skeptical that it would keep me warm, but it did with remarkable breathability.
I normally wear a large, but the extra large seemed to fit best. This jacket's only drawback seems to be the cumbersome routine of removing the sleeves.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
I have been wearing this jacket through the fall and winter and since spring is still a little behind here, I am still using it.Wind, rain, snow, sold, this jacket is good for everything. I wear enough layers underneath the jacket of course, but there is no air coming through it and the waterproofing is more than sufficient for my 30-minute commute on wet days.I love the scremaing yellow which really helps with visibility (together with my array of front and rear lights). The arms come off easily but I have not used it much that way. I have been wondering about the seemingly undersized zippers on the pockets and arms but they hold up very well. The jacket cleans up well in the washing machine as well.Yes, it costs [$] but that money is well spent. Go and get it, you will not be disappointed.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
Pearl Izumi got this jacket right. I actually owned a Canari Eclipse jacket prior to thsi and exchanged it for the Vagabond. I originally bought the Canari because it was [$], but am very happy I changed my mind. I ride my bike to work everyday in Boise - spring temps are usually high 30's to low 40's, and I wear this jacket with either a t-shirt or lightweight base layer (like an under armor). It the perfect weight for spring and fall morning rides. Also, this jacket does a good job repelling water - it's not waterproof, of course, but does a good job in light rain. The fabric quality is great and I like the chest pocket.

The bright (but tacky) color does a good job of helping make me more visible to cars. Very comfortable.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
This is the first cycling specific jacket I've ever owned or worn so I have no basis for comparison to other jackets but I can vouch that this is an awesome jacket in itself. I'm a slender guy so most jackets that match my length are often too wide on me but this fits just right. There was very little flapping in the wind and when it did, the noise was slight.

Comments about Pearl Izumi Vagabond Jacket - Men's:
I purchased the XL because the chest size in the L felt too small and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to wear anything underneath the jacket.
As soon as I started riding, the shoulders were flapping on both sides. There was too much material over the shoulder. If I got going at all (> 15 mph) they would flap. It was simply too annoying.
I liked how lightweight the jacket was. The visibility to drivers is great....breathed well...just the flapping...had to take it back.
