    I have used the ASICS GEL-Nimbus for 2 marathons and training. I always use the same brand and model year after year. I have not ever had a problem. I still have and occasionally use the pair from 8 years ago on rainy days. I am flat footed and usually purchase an insert for my shoes which I recommend for flat footed people. Yet the factory insole works fine also.

      i bought those after reading the precedent review, although i am far from beeing a marathonian.
      as an occasional road runner, i have no cons to report after a month of use.
      they are confortable, and i didnt notice any friction points as it was usually the case with other brands i owned before.
      this is my first Asics.
      i run 3 to 4 hours a week.
