Great jacket for cool, autumn weather

I wanted a warm hoody for the fall and ran across the Medley Hoody. I know that Outdoor Research manufactures great products so I thought I would try this out. I've had a little trouble with the zipper and it's a little tight around the hips (but otherwise fits great). (I do have hips but I ordered a large...) The jacket is 40% wool but not itchy. I normally cannot wear wool for this reason but this jacket is very cozy. I would not put it in the category of a fleece in terms of weight or feel but it's still very soft while very durable.

love it love it love it!

I use this hoodie/jacket for EVERYTHING. It is my all purpose fall/winter/spring in town jacket (I live in North Carolina) and especially use it to climb. The hood looks a bit funny on, but that's because it's designed to fit PERFECTLY under a climbing helmet, which it does. I can't find fault with it in any way--while not water or windproof, it definitely keeps the elements out well. The only fault my husband could find in it is that he has to look at me wearing it 24/7.

Wanted it, got it, love it

Saw one of the Guides athe IME Womens Rock Weekend in North Conway wearing this piece and it looked great. I bought it for casual wearing and a very breathable but warm piece for windless but cold days skinning and hiking. Ina closet full of technical outerwear it is the piece i am wearing the most right now.
