      This jacket was very well cut and cute, but lack of any front pockets and non-closing underarm vents broke the deal for me. Also, it wasn't as packable as I needed. Tempting to keep for looks alone, but function just didn't add up enough.

      I mtn bike ride frequently & am looking for an old-school, breathable, packable, flexible waterproof jacket. I used to have a REI pumpkin colored jacket that I wanted to replace. This one fits very well - true to size, but, no pit zips, very long sleeves & very tacky feeling membrane type inner surface. When I wear this in the rain, I feel like a wet, hot tea bag in a plastic sandwich bag. But I sure do look good ;o) Cute colors, good fit.

      This is a great product for the price & the designers for Novara have really paid attention to the details with this jacket. Previous comments have mentioned the lack of pockets, breathability & arm pit vents. These are not true of this jacket in '09. There is a huge zippered pocket in the back, well designed arm-pit vents and upper back vent. The fit is great. I am tall with long arms & the jacket is long enough to cover my wrists & tuck into gloves. It also allows for freedom of movement in the shoulders. This jacket is lightweight & easily folds up to fit in a jersey pocket if the weather clears. It comes with strategically placed reflective piping & a soft collar lining so it is not scratchy on your chin. All the little details add up when logging miles in cold, wet weather. This jacket has it all & for much less than you would find in other cycling brands. My only complaint is that I am tall & this would be a 5 star review if it were 1 inch longer in the front, but it still has great length and coverage in the rear of the jacket.
