    We live in a cold and very windy climate (Wyoming), and none of my peacoats were warm enough (those coats had worked for me for four years in Colorado). I had to get something that would be warm and wind resistant like a ski jacket, but as long as possible and as cute as possible. This jacket is perfect. You don't look like a marshmallow, just cute. The inside is a maroon color, and the outside fabric is a bit like canvas, but in a chic way (not a military way). My only regret is not getting this coat sooner. My mom loved mine so much that she bought herself one and says it's been the best thing she ever did for those Chicago winters. You will not regret this coat.

        Love this coat! I originally ordered the North Face Alpine Parka, but it was too bulky and picked up every pet hair it came in contact with. The Marmot Chelsea Coat is warm and refined! I walk to work every morning and evening (1.5 miles each way) and during the winter months I need a warm coat with a hood. The Chelsea Coat will be perfect! I'm typically a size 6 and ordered the small. I wont be able to wear really bulky layers underneath, but that's OK with me. This coat will keep me warm enough without all the layers.
