      I am surprised that the other reviewers didn't see the white stitching in the picture and that the jacket came just to the waist. Although I bought it a the store, the picture here is very accurate to what I own. I was looking for a jacket that kept me warm with the need for only one or two thin layers in cold skiing conditions, as well as ease of movement. This jacket fits the bill perfectly. I wore it on a very windy 15 degree day with a base layer and a turtleneck and was never cold in the midsection. There is an upper-sleeve pocket for your infra-red ski pass, a lower sleeve pocket with a goggle cloth. I am very pleased with the movement through the bumps and trees, the overall comfort and the warmth. There is no snow skirt and the shorter legnth should be worn with bibs or higher waisted pants if you are worried about falling alot and getting snow in your pants. There is also not a big inside pocket like many ski jackets have for stowing goggles and neck-warmers, etc. But I store my goggles on my helmet and I like that I don't have all that extra bulk while skiing. I carried a cell phone and a snack easily with room for much more, if desired.

          This jacket comes with WHITE STITCHING!!! It does not come with dark stitching as shown in the picture. In fact, don't buy the TAUPE because it doesn't look good with white stitching.
