If I could take one thing to heaven when I die it would be this hat. There are not words to describe how great this hat is so I shall quote the great James Lipton as played by Will Ferrell in saying that this hat is "scrumtralescent".

I have been wearing the bambeanie around for a few days, and have been asked about it more times than I can remember. People love how it looks, and I love how it feels. It is warm, soft, stretchy, and not itchy at all (a problem that some hats have).

I really like this beanie a lot and wear it constantly.

Used the Bambeanie in New York City under cold, snowy, rainy conditions. Walked into the subway and forgot the thing was on my head. Also used during winter excursions in the Appalachian mountains. Great feel. Keeps the head warm. I have a huge head and this thing stretches to fit it. When not in use, folds or stuffs easily into a small pocket.

Love the fit and breathability, so does everyone else that tries it on. Super comfy and retains enough heat to keep you warm on a blustery day, wrapping down around your ears, but you can leave it on upon entering your home without overheating- you probably will too, as you'll forget that it is on. Great for cool weather activities too, as the breathability is excellent.

Service and delivery comments:

REI rocks. I have seen this said before, but it is so true. Time after time, quick delivery and great product lines to choose from. After dealing with them for some time, they have proven friendly and dependable even with returns. I wish i had one near my hometown...then again my wallet probably wouldn't be able to support it.

This beanie is perfect. I recently lost another north face beanie and I needed a replacement - hoping that I'll eventually find my lost beanie I opted to buy a different beanie and this one surpaces my other north face beanie in every way. This beanie fits perfectly and has a great stretch to it - and I would imagine it would likely be a perfect fit for nearly any adult head size. I wear glasses and this is normally an issue when wearing a beanie, but not with the bambeanie as it stretches enough to go around the frames. Also, this beanie is about half as thick as a traditional beanie, so my head doesn't get as hot as quick. All in all, it covers my ear lobes, doesn't push down my glasses, and isn't too thick. I would probably wear something thicker for freezing temps, but for those brisk days (in southern California) that require one to wear something over their head, this beanie is perfect.
