The best thing I can say about Perpetuem is that IT WORKS. It is literally a fuel that my muscles need for intense workouts, like hammering a multi-hour ride over rolling terrain. I usually pair this product with Hammer gels (also excellent, especially the raspberry), and between them, I can ride strongly for hours. When I fuel with these two products, I have noticeably less fatigue in my legs, and less lactic acid builds up. At the end of a 3- or 4-hour ride I am always finishing strongly, and feel like I could just keep on riding if it weren't for other stuff like responsibilities. I like the caffe latte flavor, because it tastes great with a hint of sweetness, and packs a little caffeine punch to boot (25 mg per serving). It is very easily digestible, and you can drink it during the heaviest exertion without repercussion. All in all, this is an excellent product and you owe it to yourself to try it and see what a difference it can make!
I will be using the tabs this summer on extended hikes to see how they help in that endeavor, too.
