The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
i commute via bike to/from work. i wear this on my helmet to make myself a little more noticeable to drivers. it's not a bad light: it gives enough light to pack my bike in the dark conditions but it won't provide you with enough light to help with seeing the road. the issue that i have found is the light stops working in cold temperatures; last couple of days it has been in the low 20s and when i arrive at my destination (11.5 miles later) the light is snuffed out. at first i thought it was the battery but the light came on when it warmed up.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
These little lights are great as extras for visibility. The quick on and off mounting makes it a breeze to move them around - helmet, seat post, bag, wherever.
I actually use these for a jogging stroller for night outings (every night). The white light works well mounted to the front wheel supports and not only alerts drivers, but does a good job of lighting the ground directly ahead of the wheel. The red light is nice as a safety light out back, either on the stroller or attached to me!
A few notes:
+The strap hugger can be turned to mount the light perpendicular to the strap - nice feature that isn't well documented increasing mounting options.
+The shrouds above the lights do make them somewhat directional (not visible in all directions) so be sure to point them into traffic!
And once we are off the roads, my little one loves to take them off and wear them around the driveway in the dark.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
The white light is not meant to be used as a means to see the road in front of you, but in order to be seen by other riders or cars. These little lights work great and are bright enough to be seen from dusk to dawn, and they'll last that long too. They can get turned on fairly easily in a bag, but buying/replacing the batteries is a very easy process. They are small and weigh very little. They do their job very well, and have given me no problems at all in the 2 years I've had them.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I attach this small light onto my helmets air vents using the velcro strip. This way I can look toward and get the attention of drivers who may be pulling out in front of me from side roads. I keep this small light in the flashing mode for increased vis. but don't notice it when riding b/c of my primary light, which is attached to my handlebars.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I just needed a flashing light for the rear of the bike at night, so this light fit the bill. I would in no way consider the white front led for lighting. It is more for visibility. The feature that sold me was that it is mounted with a velcro strap. I can take it off when needed, and put back on for night rides. The housing of the LED has a rubber feet so it stays secure on the seat post. The problem I had with other lights is that they use plastic zip ties, as the main component that secures it, that deteriorate rather quickly in the heat that I live around.

These lights are so easy to attach to your bike. I use them to "be seen" a dusk, not really good for seeing where you're going. Would definately recommend to a friend.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
This is a great and inexpensive safety light for your bike; attach one to the handle bar and the other to the seat post and you are set. (It's not meant to be a head light so don't complain about it not lighting your path.) It is perfect and simple to use for what it is meant for…a set of safety lights. I bought a set for each bike we own.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I got these lights so I could be more visible at night. They do a great job of increasing my visibility for vehicular traffic. But the headlight does not illuminate more than say 5 feet in front of my bike--so don't get this for the purpose of seeing obstacles in front of your bike.
Very versatile mounting!
GREAT for others seeing you--not you seeing obstacles.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
On my commuter I have a full range of lights, both front and rear. I was looking for something for my road bike in case I get caught out late after a club ride or weather turns nasty on a training ride. These lights are perfect. They're barely noticeable until you need them. It's just enough light to be seen as the sun begins to set or the clouds roll in. They're far to small to use for commuting, but are a great back up to have in case of emergency. And, yes, they have a flashing mode. I couldn't find that listed on any other reviews.

Comments about Planet Bike Spok Light Set:
I purchased these lights after being caught out on the road after sunset and finishing a ride in near darkness. Now I keep them in the saddle bag of my road bike for emergency use. They are light/small enough that they could be put in a jersey pocket. I have used them a number of times and am very satisfied with their performance. I would not recommend them as primary lights on a commuter bike.
