The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
These gloves are the best. For the price, they simply cannot be beat. I usually get about 1,500 to 2,000 bike miles per pair. They are breathable enough that your hands don't overheat. They fend off light rain. The reflective accents on the hands are good for signaling in low light.
I've also used them extensively for winter jogging.
Simply love them.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
Mountain Hardwear did not disappoint AT ALL with these gloves. Fit perfectly and keep my hands warm and dry on at least 10 mile runs in the falling snow. Could not be happier with these gloves.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I lived in Iceland for a year and I used these gloves everday, all the time. It isn't extremely cold in Iceland, but where I lived it was incredibly windy and there was a misty rain regularly. I did a lot of trips around the country and quite a few involved being outdoors. These gloves were my absolute favorite. I used them until I wore a hole in the index finger of my dominant hand. I sewed it up and kept on wearing them. Hardly ever had a need for another pair of gloves over these. I'm about to move to northern Japan and I've order another pair.

I bought these glove for a photography based trip to Utah/Zion National Park. The gloves were perfect for my needs. Granted, maybe not warm enough for 18 degrees (f) weather but very functional for my overall needs. I have smaller hands; these gloves fit me well.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
These are my favorite cold weather for cold city life (not snow country). I am back here to order another pair because I lost one glove and so relieved that they are still available. They're not too bulky and surprisingly warm. The only thing I wish they had were grippy palms.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I discovered these gloves when a friend and I found ourselves in the snow during a spring hike. I hadn't brought gloves and borrowed these Mountain Hardware ones from her. Since then, I've gone through 3 pairs (despite the ability to clip them together, I keep losing them). They keep my hands warm in any temperature and are thin enough that my fingers have full range of motion and I can wear them with anything.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I was looking for comfortable, warm gloves for running in the winter, but never used them for running as I was given a pair of New Balance running gloves as a present, so felt obligated to use those instead. I did bring these gloves to Patagonia with me and was extremely pleased that I did. Not only did they keep my hands warm and dry during downpours on various hikes, they also blocked out the infamous windy conditions in Patagonia. They are extremely light and dry off very quickly. I normally do not write reviews, but this glove is just that good.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I've had these gloves for the past two years and I lost one yesterday. They are great for cooler weather but when it gets COLD (30F and under is cold to me) these aren't good. I walk a 1/2 mile to and from work every day to hop on mass transit. Not windproof, and I can feel the chill thru the gloves. I have to stuff my hands in my pockets to keep them warm. However, if I wear them as a liner and put on heavier gloves they are great, but I'm a bulky mess.
I will probably buy another pair today but will also buy something else to keep my hands warm.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I bought these to use while dayhiking in some areas that I expected to be cold due to altitude or time of day. (They replaced a pair of thin polartec gloves that I had to throw away after getting a bunch of cactus spines stuck in them!) Tried on a lot of women's gloves at the local REI store - these had the best fit and weight for what I was looking for. I knew that I would not need to wear gloves much on this summer vacation and wanted a lightweight pair that I could slip on and off as needed, and didn't want them to take up a lot of room in my pack. I also knew that I would not encounter anything much colder than 30s and kept that in mind as well.
I didn't have too many occasions to wear these on my recent trip, but when I did they kept my hands warm and did not interfere with using my DSLR camera. I felt warmer even without using a heavy jacket just because my hands were not cold.
If I changed anything about these, I would include a grip area - not sure how well these will do for driving due to the lack of any type of grip. But the lack of grip did not affect my use of camera or grasping other objects such as my water bottle. Since I live in a warm climate, it will be a long time before I will get the opportunity to try them out while driving. If they work for that, it will be a bonus because I purchased them primarily to use for dayhiking and am satisfied with them for that purpose.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Power Stretch Gloves - Women's:
I've worn holes in 2 pairs in less than 2 seasons each. I used them solo and as liners for winter hiking/camping, snowshoeing, mountaineering, etc., and keep my nails short. The first pair developed a hole at the index finger; the second pair, the thumb. It's disappointing; the fit was great for me (hence the second pair), but I won't buy these again. My husband has had similar issues but hasn't given up on them yet, while someone else we know has decided to switch. I can't be bothered to keep stitching them up, and would not recommend them based on the lack of expected durability from this product/brand.
