Comments about The North Face Vertex Stretch Temptation Pants - Women's:
Great fit. Crotch depth is very good, waist fits well. Looks flattering. I wanted pants for travel that would dry faster than jeans. These feel good, and look great. More $ than I might pay, but they are just right in cut and good fabric. Hard to find that.

Comments about The North Face Vertex Stretch Temptation Pants - Women's:
I'm an avid hiker, backpacker, and traveler, and I feel like I've been looking for these pants all my life! I'm a fit 5'7", 130 lbs with a generous behind/thighs, and I have the hardest time finding pants that accommodate my bottom/thighs without being too big around my relatively small waist! The size Small is perfect for my larger areas, and I use the drawstring to cinch around my waist as needed. These pants are a teensy bit long, but they fold up easily and, again, the drawstring helps keep them in place when the pack is pushing down on them.
These pants do not wrinkle, and they resist water and stains (and mosquitos!) incredibly well. They also don't show an underwear line unlike other lightweight fabrics. They're so stretchy and yet strong that I've rock climbed and done lots of scrambling hiking with them without any ill effects.
The roll-up aspect of the pants is great because, unlike many other roll-up capris, these have buttons on each side, so you get an even, comfortable, and attractive new length. Extremely handy in warmer weather, and very easy to do.
The pockets are also excellent. I just can't say enough about these pants! My boyfriend thinks they look great, too! :)

Although it might be the proximity of my inner thighs to each other, these pants are not for sneaking around at night... I call them my shucka-shucka pants because they're louder than corduroys. I haven't tried these in hot, humid weather yet, but hope they are as light & airy as they feel now. Other than that, these are PERFECTION. They are lightweight, comfortable, quick-drying, infinitely packable, long in length but not in the waist height, not too tight, not too loose, and perfectly pocketed. I am a not-so-fit tall 14-16. I purchased the XL and they are "relaxed fit," but feel like my most favorite sweats and look tons more presentable. It's like wearing nothing at all... but with pockets.

This is the most comfortable pair of pants I have. And it's great to have the function of "hiking pants" with deep and zippered pockets, but to come out of the woods looking fashionable enough to go to lunch or work. Soft lining at waistband is so great when I carry my fanny back which is pretty heavy.

I put these pants on, and my life changed. They are super stretchy, I can fold into a pretzel if i wanted to (or could). I'm pumped to wear them everywhere. They look awesome, and they're super comfy

I bought these pants for hiking and camping. These pants were great in hot daytime temperatures (capri feature) but I wished I had a base layer underneath in freezing temperatures. They are amazingly comfortable even after sleeping in them. Water beads up very well. Love the stretch but they don't cling.

These are the best hiking pants I've ever owned. Do not let the elastic waist keep you from getting these pants!! I used to turn my nose up at elastic waists and I will never go back after owning these pants.
The stretch pants move with you in whatever you are doing. The waist hits me perfectly for my pack. They come on and off so easily when I'm trying to add/remove layers.
The only negative is that they are kind of loud (most hiking pants are) and this keeps me from wearing them casually.
I'm a size 6, 5'3" and the medium fits me great.

Comments about The North Face Vertex Stretch Temptation Pants - Women's:
I wore these pants backpacking last summer, raving about how much I loved them the whole trip. They feel like you are wearing your favorite pair of sweatpants but look like you are dressed in a nice pair of khakis. They are tough, water resistant, dirt and dog hair resistant, sun protective and did I mention extremely comfortable!! The best part (for us middle aged mamas) is the stretchy waist band. Very forgiving and so very nice when carrying a pack not to have to mess with buttons, snaps, belts, etc. Lots of pockets, convertable to capris - just amazing. [...] I'm going to buy an extra pair or two just to stock up.
