      I bought this watch for a trip to Costa Rica where I knew I would be in the humid jungle, on the water, and snorkling. I wore it constantly and it worked perfectly and washed easily. I also used the handy Indiglo feature more than expected, and also used the 2 time zones feature and the alarm. Down side: The fabric strap is tough but after only two months there's a bit of wear at the buckle notch.

        I've had mine for a few years - I took it diving in the Keys over 40ft at least 8 times... no problems. I use it's alarms multiple times a day. I also time my hubby's triathlon splits. Love it. Get one.

        cons: I can't wear it when I dress up... it's a bit too bulky and casual.

        Timex dependability has apparently stopped ticking. Purchased for its looks and features and to wear while swimming. But in 4 weeks the Indiglo light stopped working. In 4 months the face went blank even though water resistant to 100m. A replacement Battery requires reprogrammming the watch. Too much hassle for such a short life.

          The watch was great until I wore it on an innertube down a river. Though the face of the watch states "water resistant to 100M" that did not prove to be the case. Water has gotten into the face, and there is still condensation after several days of trying to dry it out. The indiglo no longer works either. I just bought this watch about 2 months ago, and it's going right back to the store.

            I'm a backpacker & rugged on watches. Important on a watch was the basics, I want to see what time it is early in the morning when it's still dark, the digital is big enough to see, the date & sometimes an alarm. So this watch has everything I needed plus more. I've worn this last one for 4 yrs, it is starting to look a bit battered but have never replaced the band & all functions still work great. Good price for a dependable watch.
