          OK, so I've been an REI member since the 1960's, and REI mostly gets it right, but this GPS mount is a split personality: the plastic clip works fine, but the zip ties allow it to swivel around on the mountain bike handlebar like a drunk monkey. Yes, I used two sets of pliers to pull them tight. Would return it but already used/cut the ties. If only a BOLT to secure it!

            As stated in earlier reviews, you can easily loose your GPS on mt bike trail. I did on 1st usage, had to backtrack 1/2 mile to find my brand new oregon on ground with scrath on touchscreen. Zipties attach around bars, so GPS will rotate upside down. I fixed by drilling additional hole on mount and added another ziptie to brake cable to prevent rotation.

              Lost my Garmin the first time I used it while mountain biking. Needs to have a safety cable or more positive locking mechanism. Zip ties do not hold the unit stable on rough trails.

                    Picked this up for a back country mountain bike trip to use with my Dakota 10. This mount held the GPS securely thru all kinds of riding. Buying a second mount for my road bike.
                    One tip: don't tighten the zip ties too much right away. Leave a tiny bit of slack until you find the best position for you to see the screen while riding then give them a final cinch.
