Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
It was a great price for me. Most bibs are well over $70. This one was much less, probably due to the unpopularity of the reviews and holiday sales/clearance. For me, the bib seems to be holding up well on short and medium rides. I find the material to be a little thicker than cycling shorts. It's like felt, which I guess is a bit warmer, but it serves it's purpose well. No pilling. I've had better padding, but this seems to be just fine for short and medium distances. I cannot comment on longer distances. I would buy another one right away, but they seem to be out of stock.

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
For under $30 these are pretty good. I'm over 60 so I don't go to fast. They fit good, I'm 5'11" - 200 lbs and a XL fit perfect, and are comfortable. The one downside is the chamois is fair - ok for shorter rides 25-40 miles. The price is the best part.

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
Not sure why everyone else is so down on these. I haven't owned other bibs and can't compare, but these have worked quite well for me over the past couple of months.
My only grip is that they are breathtakingly oversized. I usually am between XL and XXL, and I had to go all the way down to a Large to get a good fit. Maybe that is why others had problems?

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
These are useless. I bought them last year, wore them a couple of times before returning them. There is just no way to make them fit. Stay away from these bibs and buy something else.

These bibs are way too short vertically. Padding is sub-par and they are a bit on the loose side.

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
The fabric on the inner thigh was seriously worn after the fourth ride. The length seems short which causes them to crawl up you know where. They were very breathable and fairly comfortable while riding. I returned them.

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
By far worst shorts I bought and the biggest waste of money. Put you money toward a good quality short like LG. With in two washes the fabric was fading fast, now after about 10-12 it doesn't ever look black or even a faded black...it has a brown tint! the inside thighs are majorly frayed from rubbing the seat and material seems to have lost its elastic nature only after a dozen or so uses...complete waste of money

Material began pilling on the inner thigh areas after the first ride! I'm certain that in one or two more uses it will develop holes. Unbelievable!

Comments about Canari Ultra Pro Bib Bike Shorts - Men's - Special Buy:
All i wanted was an inexpensive pair of bib shorts to wear around town, on short rides, perhaps some longer distances in inclement weather. Not only am I shocked that these have a list price of [$], I'm appalled they even cost me the discounted price of [$] That's about $40 more than these things are worth. In over 30 years of riding, these are the single poorest, most terrible, inadequate cycling related item I've ever bought. Hands down. Bar none. Flimsy fabric. Narrow "chamois" that offers virtually no padding. Seams look weak and one is starting to unravel after one short ride. I have Canari jerseys for the same type of use and they're fine, but these are not worth wearing, let alone owning. For [$] I can (and usually do) buy bibs that last several seasons and they're usable for long rides if I so choose to use them that way. Not so these; you'd never survive more than a few miles. I guess you get what you pay for. I'm just surprised these are available from REI. If there was a rating lower than 1 star i would use it.
