No matter the style of climbing, Arc'Teryx R320 harness offers excellent comfort and support for vertical endeavors.

  • Warp Strength® Technology (WST) allows the harness to be shaped and contoured to the climber's body for excellent support and comfort
  • WST eliminates the need for excessive padding by uniformly spreading the load across the entire harness
  • Core of tie-in points and belay loop feature Wear Safety Markers to visually alert you when the protective ballistic sheath is worn through
  • When the protective sheath is worn, bright orange will show as an indication that abrasion to the structural webbing may occur
  • Four webbing loops sewn directly to harness are sheathed by injection-molded polyurethane gear loops
  • Shaped for forward racking, polyurethane gear loops are reversible and removable; loops remain flexible in extreme cold
  • Self-locking 7075 T6 aluminum buckle provides an extra margin of safety by allowing adjustments while maintaining the proper double-back configuration
  • Buckle can be completely separated when needed
  • Stretchy leg loops offer a precise fit without restricting range of motion
  • Droppable seat makes it easy to answer nature's call while remaining tied in to the rope
  • Haul loop allows you to trail a second rope on long multipitch routes
  • Exterior Schoeller® stretch fabric is lightweight and highly abrasion resistant; spacermesh on inner face is soft and breathable

  • Medium fits waist 31 - 34.5 in., leg 22 - 24 in.

  • X Large fits waist 37.5 - 42 in., leg 25 - 28 in.

    Excellent product, super lightweight, ready to hold all your gear. super comfortable.

    Regarding the comment previous to mine, I have a 30 inch waist and the Small fits me perfect. But like everything else. just try one on for size. Everyone's body is different.

      After looking far and wide to get this harness I finally tracked one down. Boy is it comfortable! Unlike other harnesses I own it doesn't compress or pinch the clothing underneath, it doesn't feel like it's bunching around your waist...it just works!

      The buckle is smooth and secure, the fit is right on. If you're smaller than a 32 waist you'll definitely need an XS though.

        I was skeptical of paying this much for a harness, cuz honestly, I could use this money towards expanding my rack!
        But after taking a good look at my harness I decided on trying this thing out and wow! When I'm wearing it I would hardly know its on my body if it weren't for the weight of the gear on the sides!

        I've taken a whipper or two on it and never felt more secure in a harness! Absolutely no bruising either. Totally worth the cash.

          I often am in my harness for 10+ hours at a time, and I'm very pleased by how comfortable the R320 has performed. I must say I was skeptical at first because it's so freakin light and the waist band seems just too thin. Clearly Arc'Teryx does their research, cause this product far exceeded my expectations.

          The wrap around waist part of this harness is a dream, but the leg loops are too small! A reviewer for climbing mag found that they lost feeling in their legs while hanging for more than just a brief period of time and I found the exact same thing. For the price, that is not a good thing. Make sure this will fit your legs, not just your waist.

            Haven't taken any whippers in it yet, but looking forward to it.(that normal?) Would recommend for anyone that is looking to increase comfort and ease of movement (feels non-existent). Cost is up there so I suggest waiting for a member coupon or your yearly dividend, unless you have the green. I was surprised at the stability of the leg loops I was thinking that the edges would curl when weighted.
            As for the sizing im around a 32/33 and Medium works well with room to spare on waist, legs felt good but I have larger legs

              There is nothing wrong with my old harness.

              I like nice things but I just couldn't justify getting this harness since there really is nothing wrong with my old one. So, I promised myself that if and when I climb a 5.11, I would treat myself to this fancy harness.

              Totally worth it. (recycle the tin)

                It is great. It is the best I have used and I will probably not go with another brand again for a harness given how great this one is. Regarding the previous sizing comment, I am 6' and have a 31 waist and a small was WAY too small for me, both vertically and in circumference. Medium works perfect!
