I originally bought these sunglasses on sale at a store that was going out of business. I was joining the Peace Corps and going live on an equatorial island for two years, and needed something that offered a fair amount of blockage from the side as well as the front. These glasses were not my top choice for looks as a woman, but they were so functional and comfortable. Very good quality and very durable. They definitely did a superb job at blocking out much of the super strong sun, and prevented me from squinting most of the time. Highly recommended!

I really love these glasses, but the very nice looking Tortise Graphics are a cheap plastic wrap on clear frames. No matter how careful you are, it eventually starts to peel off. [$] for glasses that won't last is no good. If you buy, be sure to buy from REI, as they will take them back without any issues. [...]
