I had my eye on this bag for some time. It was a little smaller than I had pictured but the material is waaaay better. The chocolate photo makes it look almost like a parachute material but it is not. It is strong, soft to the touch,and stain-resistant, if not waterproof.
It is significantly roomier than it looks and can hold all the stuff I need to attend a graduate class (3 ring binder, textbook, notebook...). I really really like the way it feels when wearing it. I am petite (5'3") and always have trouble with back pain when I wear a bookbag in this style. This bag was able to fit comfortably, up high where it should, and still looked so cute on. I am a bag addict always on the lookout for the most functional yet feminine, young, modern bag so this one really blows me over because of the great security features that are really easy to use. The arm strap that goes around a chair is slightly awkward but it the bag's defense, I am really skinny too, so the strap is like 12 inches when I wear it. MAJOR NOTE: The bag has the wire mesh on the front pockets as well and when my bag got crumpled, the metal did not go back to shape and is now a ball inside the front flap. I never read this anywhere else so maybe it does not happen that often but I do have to go through the whole return thing. I read all the tags and watched all the videos and I don't remember being told how to store it which is the only reason this product is not getting a 5-Star rating. Sorry backpack, talk to Marketing.

Great bag for day trips.

Does not make you look like a tourist when traveling in locations overseas.

Extremely lightweight, comfortable to carry and with great safety features. The zip lock is especially simple and effective.

The product is pricey but worth the money.

Going to Europe for three months, I was very afraid I would be pickpocketed, especially since I prefer to carry everything in a backpack. But through buying this backpack, I left Europe with everything I came with. The backpack is very high quality, but surprisingly small. It does, however, have the capacity to carry my 13' MacBook plus a few notebooks, to give you a size reference. The locks/hooks are nice because you don't have to worry about someone sneakily coming up from behind, unzipping, taking your wallet, and walking away. You do, however, still have to be mindful when not moving in a crowded area (ie metro, etc) because if someone has enough time, they can easily unhook it and take all they want. But in review, great bag, on the smaller side, very secure (especially for travel) and worth the money if you'll be saving money in the long run.

Great secure product, carries a lot. I'm a small woman so it was a little big for me and I had problems with the flight attendants when using it as my purse/book bag/inflight entertainment bag because they want to stow it overhead, even though it fits nicely under the seat.

The top zipper could open a wee bit more to make digging around in the main compartment more convenient.

I bought this bag for a recent trip overseas. I was drawn to the design and all of the secure pockets. The side pockets for water bottles are very handy. However, on the 3 day of my trip after VERY light use, the bag had ripped along the seam on both straps and the stitching came apart in several other place. Not worth the money!
