The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about PMI Fingerless Belay Gloves:
I have used them for belaying only and they great. Wash with light dishwasher liquid and rinse then air dry they stay supple. Need to buy a size up for snug fit.

Comments about PMI Fingerless Belay Gloves:
I not only use these gloves for recreational climbing, but I am also a high ropes facilitator and use them daily as I work on our high ropes course. These gloves make belaying much more comfortable, not to mention my hands don't smell like weathered steel at the end of the day. The light weight leather is very durable and provide better grip even when wet. The only thing to keep in mind is that these gloves are leather and just like any other leather product they will stretch over time so make sure you buy them snug.

Comments about PMI Fingerless Belay Gloves:
I bought these fingerless gloves in hopes that I would be able to tie knots while wearing the gloves. However, they are still a bit bulky to do that well since the fingers interfere(I have short fingers and wide palms). However, they are good quality and light-weight, which is nice. The major reason I would not buy these again is that I got friction burns when using them rappelling - the fingers were too short for where the rope naturally lies in my controlling hand on fast rappels. If I were just belaying a climber or using it for a controlled rappel (top-roping), then perhaps these would prevent burns. As it is, for what I need them for, I can't use them. :(
