The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
These were my first pair of shoes and fit like a sock after 2 or 3 days of climbing. I climbed consistently 3 times a week at an indoor gym and wore a hole in both shoes on the toe (smeared too much) after about 2 1/2 months. (I went with the Katana for my next pair b/c the rubber's a thicker around the toe) But I would definitely recommend them to a beginner as they are cheaper and comfortable. I'm a size 7.5/8 and went with a size 37 so go a size or so smaller (they will stretch a little).

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
These are by far my favorite shoes. They are so comfortable and the edging is great. I've used these outdoors exclusively and have had great results. I've worn them for multi-pitch friction climbing and it sticks very well even though it's a little harder than the normal shoes that you would want for friction climbing. On the long multi-pitch climbs, it's comfortable but I would recommend taking these off for rappelling. My big toes were slightly sore after I rapped with them on day one. That's normal when you're in climbing shoes for seven hours straight on multi-pitch. I wore these shoes three days straight and my feet were fine. I have a pair of Katana and they were painful to wear even on short climbs. My toes were excruciating doing one climb in my Katana but these shoes were amazing. I didn't really have a break in period. I normally wear a 6.5-7 street shoes and got a 37 in these. I would highly recommend them!

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
This is my first pair of shoes, so I can't say too much compared to other models, but after taking them out for a few climbs, I have to say that I feel much more confident in my footwork, and I find myself trusting my feet more than when I had to rent shoes. The grip is excellent, and they have a very snug fit, so my feet don't move around in the shoes, but they are not hurting either. They're probably not the best if you like to use heel hooks, as the sole around the heel is very basic. They're great shoes if you're starting out like I am, and I think they'd make very good all-around shoes.

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
I was looking for a shoe that had a wider toe box. Being over 50 I love to climb, but don't need to be in pain doing so. Other shoes I've worn were great on the wall, but uncomfortable to leave on between climbs. This shoe is very comfortable and after breaking it in a few weeks, it has good feel and edging. I'm very happy with the product! If you are used to narrow fitting climbing shoes, this one may be too wide for you.

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
I got my pair at the REI garage sale in Boulder for a super deal (used once, returned because they were too small and my REI co-op discount on top of that). For the price I got them for, they're a really great pair of shoes. I started climbing about a year ago and I got up to 5.10b/c's within a few months with these. They're comfortable enough that you can wear them for hours at a climbing gym and not have to adjust them too much or re-lace them, and they performed solidly when I went outside in Boulder Canyon. I can't even wear my old pair of shoes any more because the grip and sensitivity isn't the same. They work for bouldering, but I'm at the point where I am thinking of purchasing a different shoe to wear for bouldering because these aren't very aggressive.
It's a great beginner shoe because of the price and comfort, and good if you plan on being in them for a while. Be warned that the heel is a little loose for ladies who have slender/narrow heels. When I jump down from the wall, there's always air pockets that escape and cause shoe farts! As the other reviewers stated, the upper leather will stretch over time. If I had a choice in sizing I would have gotten half a size smaller (5.5 - 6 street shoe, and my Nagos are 35s).

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
These shoes have worked out perfectly. They're relatively inexpensive, and I've found them really comfortable. After 3 months of climbing indoors 2-3 times / week, they're only showing a little wear to the rubber on the instep edge.
The leather uppers will stretch. I wear an 8.5-9 street shoe but went with a 38 for these. They were snug, but not painful, for the first couple climbs. The bit of stretch helped it take on the perfect fit quickly, and I'm really glad I didn't go with a bigger size.

Great shoe, this was my second shoe. The only thing is that the rubber wears down and gets a little slippery. They also stretch a little...

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
I bought these shoes at the Boca Park (Las Vegas) REI and every female climber remarked at how much they loved them as I left the store. Which made me feel great about my purchase. I specifically bought them to climb at Red Rocks; I thought they gripped well and still felt comfortable after climbing all day. I don't know how they fit other people but I normally take a size 9.5 and got the size 9. They were slightly stiff at first but stretched a little bit and softened up quickly. I can't say how they would fair at the gym since I haven't taken them there yet. I will definitely be recommending these to friends.

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
I bought these on sale with the hopes of getting a great all around comfort shoe that I could use on anything. These def fit the criteria! When i first got these the shoes were so small on my feet that the tips of my toes would go numb after being in them for about 30min and at first I thought that I got the wrong shoe size... But after stretching them out by climbing in them as well as when not climbing they slowly stretched, and now they fit perfectly....
Beware... they WILL stretch, I reccomend getting at least a half size smaller than what you would normally climb in. but otherwise I love these shoes, they feel great to be in all day. It was a few months after i bought these that i realized i should've gotten an agressive pair of shoes for overhangs... but i got a new pair for that...

Comments about La Sportiva Nago Rock Shoes - Women's:
My last shoes were 5.10 Coyotes; needed a new pair and chose these after much deliberation. I easily could have gotten another pair of Coyotes (I think they're great!), but I thought I'd try something new. These were more expensive, so naturally I thought they were a little more advanced. Big mistake.
These felt okay in the store but were comically bad to climb in. No smearing ability, no stickiness, no edging, no sensitivity, no nothing. Wore them twice, thinking I'd give them another shot. Pfft. As an added bonus, they're really, really uncomfortable. These are to be avoided.
