Comments about Timbuk2 Slider Accessory Case:
I purchased this less than a year ago for my iPod touch. It worked great- it lived on the strap of my timbuk2 messenger bag, which I love, and use continuously (I am constantly on the move). It was really easy to take the iPod in and out of, the little pocket was the right size for earbuds, etc. Recently, though, I noticed that the Velcro wasn't working so fantastic. Also recently, I upgraded to a pretty new iPhone. Yesterday, I was picking up the bag and putting it on my shoulder, and at exactly the wrong moment, the iPhone drops out of the sleeve and on to the raw slate floor of the restaurant. Shattered glass sadness. So, if you get this and use it regularly, expect to replace it every 7-8 months. I am now paranoid, and am going to get the two-way, which also fits the iPhone, but a little more securely. I wish this had a buckle or other option to more securely carry my expensive bit of electronics. The actual bag does something similar- the velcro is long dead, but the buckles do the real job anyways, so it is fine. The reason I buy timbuk2 products is that I have found them to be well designed and essentially bullet-proof. This product does not fit that standard.
