Comments about Stohlquist Paddle Maw Gloves:

Me and my friend wanted gloves to keep our hands warm while white water rafting every weekend in april. From the montana clark fork river to the spokane river. After the first weekend he said that his gloves were ripping. Mine hadn't yet until just this second weekend we were out. My gloves are torn up and the most we have done is paddled, swam, and practiced fipping the boat. I would say we used the gloves lightly. For [$] I was very unhappy with the product. Great for one day out, kept my hands warm and dry. But it went downhill fast. I would say if you want a pair of gloves to last... this would be the worst choice possible. I'm returning mine for some NRS ones that my friends have that are durable. I recommend the same.

Comments about Stohlquist Paddle Maw Gloves:

Great glove design and comfort yet they don't hold up. I returned for a refund after three or four 4-6 mile excursions on Puget Sound in a sea kayak. Don't know if the seams/stiching were the problem or whether the neoprene material can't hold up to the repetitive paddling. The material began seperating where the grey (palm) portion married the black; closest to the thumb and index finger.

Comments about Stohlquist Paddle Maw Gloves:

These gloves are very well designed. Comfy and warm with good paddle grip. They don't come up so much on the wrist that they have to go over the wrist gasket on dry suit or dry top (most gloves do and it's unnecessary) Unfortunately they are poorly made. Mine lasted 2 days and blew out in several places on both gloves. [...]

Comments about Stohlquist Paddle Maw Gloves:

These gloves are the best in the pack. They fit great, feel great, are ergonomic and fantastically designed. My first pair fell apart in a week, the stitching and gluing didnt last. I was non-plussed, thought it must have been a one off, bought a second pair, they lasted a week.

These gloves are too expensive to fall apart like this. REI, tell the maker to invest in a quality shop.

These gloves are part of my rain gear when riding my motorcycle. They are pre-curved so the are easy to grip the handle bars. They are very comfortable, warm and keep my hands dry. I like them so much that I bought my wife a pair as well.

Comments about Stohlquist Paddle Maw Gloves:

I bought these gloves in August and the durability so far is fine. I lost one of them yesterday and bought a replacement pair today. I paddle in the Northeast from April until November. These gloves are good when the water is cold. The wrist closures are of a superior design. I wear a different fingerless glove in the summer.
