    Its a good Ax. Safe and reliable. Its a bit heavier than the pro version, thus if you can spend the extra few dollars and upgrade. Otherwise a great ax.

        Great lightweight, all-[purpose mountaineering axe. Have used it in the harsh winters of the Whites, Rainier and Hood. Black Diamond makes good stuff - a no-brainer buy for me.
