      Line this up to other wire gates and it is lighter, stronger, and has a wider gate clearance. The little notch for the rope to run through is pretty slick. I use these for the rope side of trad draws w/ a bd nutrino on the gear side. I also use them racking gear. The only better wire gate is the helium but I couldn't justify the difference in price.

        actually, i bought these to mainly use to string the ropes around the two trees for hanging my hammock. they are nice cause you can use quality rope for giant trees in snowy weather and easily remove from trees next morning with gloved hands when everything's frozen and covered w/snow. not so webbing and plastic buckles cause they get frozen tight and jammed w/ice and snow.

              These biners are absolutely great. They're light, strong, affordable, and best of all they're big enough that you can actually use them. I bought 10 to use for draws, and I love them. Next time I buy biners, I'm going to be buying infernos.

                This is a great wire gate. I use it for many different applications. everything from hauling gear and equipment. To quick draws, or just to attach and hang things at camp, or on the mountain. Very light!you will be shocked at how light and strong it is for it's size.
