Comments about GCI Outdoor SitBacker Chair:

I use this baby when canoeing around town and river trips. Had to have one after seeing a friend with a similar model. I actually had to go to a different outfitter (don't tell anyone) to find this because REI didn't have it at the time of my purchase.
Stellar support. I can basically recline when if I want to. If you are any bigger (I'm 5'10" - #185) you may have problems. It's pretty comfortable as well. Nice thick padding for the rump and a titch of lumbar support.
Its a little big and bulky if you're planning long portages, but i think that the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Its great for lazy days cruising down easy stretches of river. Perfect for relaxation and consumption of adult beverages.
