Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
Originally bought this hat for paddling and it's so lightweight and comfortable that I've ended up wearing it in the garden and on my walks around town. Holds up to wind on river trips as well. And the hat floats, for those occassional mishaps or intentional tumbles overboard.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
We have or have given away 6 of these hats to family members. They are the greatest gift! We absolutely love them!
Low maintenance, great coverage from the sun, breathe very well. They say to hand wash, but we machine wash them all the time. The brim isn't as strong after machine washing, but we'd rather have slightly floppy hats over dirty hats anyday.
Only issue: they blow around a lot on windy days.
We get lots of compliments on them from people. Look kinda dorky, but on a hot day, who cares? They tend to look better on women.
The dark green/black one looks more "manly", but the almost white one is much, much cooler in usage. Would recommend the white one for almost anyone that doesn't need to blend in with bush.
They are adjustable in size. Males can wear the Medium without too much effort. Doubt many women would need the large size. The large is really large and adjusts for Mr. Potato Head at its largest.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
It's a dorky-looking hat. Therefore, if someone says "Hey nice hat" I question their sincerity.
I spent hours on one occasion in the baking sun. The hat kept my brain from boiling. When applying sunscreen, I tend to forget the back of the neck. The hat has saved me from a nasty burn.
No other hat will do the job this one will. So don't be a self-conscious fashion plate and go for one that looks cool. Just get the functional hat and call it a day. I've got news: you're not as cool as you think you are anyway.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
I strongly echo the other positive reviews. I am very fair-skinned and this hat makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors. Coverage is without compare but is somewhat reduced when the brim becomes floppy (one would need a hatbox to keep the brim unbent). It does take off in the wind and isn't a rain hat but otherwise serves its purpose well.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
This hat truly protects you from the sun, but it is not flattering. However, I have not seen a hat that protects one from the sun that makes you look "good". I figure I will be happy with less wrinkles and skin cancer than entering a fashion show. So for that matter, this hat is as good as it gets!

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
This hat is a must have for backpackers. Took mine on my most recent backpacking trip to Brazil, Argentina, and Chile and loved it. Pack it flat in your bag and you are set for sun protection.
This hat saved my face and neck from serious South American sunburns (which my buddies were not so lucky to avoid). The hat is super lightweight, big time sun protective, and suprizingly good at protecting your eyes from glare coming off water, sand, etc.
I opted for for the Sand color because it is the best guys color and doesn't show the dirt.
Since this hat is so unique looking it was real cool to see at least one other person wearing one in several places I visited.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
This hat is ugly, I admit it, but I get migraines in the sun and this hat is a godsend. Complete sun protection; the brim cuts out all the glare too. I actually don't have any problems with it in the wind because I always use the chin strap, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I was tired of walking around with my hand on my hat at the beach. Yes, the brim is kind of floppy and bent after washing, but it still works great. And I love the fact that I can fold this hat up into my purse - it's that lightweight and thin.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
This hat keeps the sun off quite well. It's lightweight & cool, and I am very happy with it. I don't dress to impress while paddling or hiking, so its appearance is fine with me. Do use the chinstrap as it tends to catch the wind.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
I have to work in the field 50% of the time and this hat comes in handy! It's very light, breathable, and covers my entire face and neck. It works wonders in 100+ temps. Besides work, I wear it to outdoor festivals and even the beach. I trust no other sun hat than this one.

Comments about Sunday Afternoons Adventure Hat:
This hat is an excellent addition to my wardrobe. It delivers the sun protection that was promised. I feel that I am protected from the elements to the max compared to other types and styles of hats. The hat is also very comfortable to wear and has great styling. I am learning about all the great features as I use the product on my hikes in my local nature center near my home. A good friend wears the same hat and I am grateful for his recommendation.
