    I took this bag for 6 weeks to South East Asia. On the first day, the compression straps broke along the bottom. When fully packed out, it was the most awkward backpack I have every worn.
    The only benefit was the wheels, for those days when just don't want anything on your back, they worked alright.

    Comments about Victorinox Trek Wheeled Pack Plus - 25'':

    I have just received this backpack, and although I've not used it yet, I can tell its going to last for years. Its very spacious with lots of expanders and a sturdy bottom.

    As a woman with limited upper body strength, the rolling wheel function was extremely important to me. The wheels on this are big and tough. Also, as someone who enjoys backpacking in both urban and wilderness environments (often in the same trip), I can tell its going to transition easily from being rolled along in the airport and carried on the trail.

    The day trip bag looks really nice, and can go places that other backpack style day-packs cannot (If you've ever gotten looks by showing up in a nicer restaurant with a backpack you know what I'm talking about). It is a bit smaller than I was expecting (I thought it was supposed to hold a laptop, but apparently they meant the other front pocket), but it has lots of great pockets for passports, mobile phone, etc.

    Overall, this is probably the best piece of luggage I have ever invested in. I have purchased 5-6 major pieces in the past 3 years, and this pack definitely trumps them all.
