Comments about DeLorme Topo USA 7.0 DVD - East Region:

It has everything I need and is less than 1/2 the price of the NG TOPO software. It's also fairly easy to interface with my Garmin Etrex Vista HCx. I can also download other trails, waypoints, and GPS tracks from other websites and import them into Topo 7.0. Just use GPS babel to convert from the NG Topo data to the DeLorme format.

Maps are somewhat slow to scroll/refresh when panning and zooming in and out. It would be nice if they scrolled as fast as google earth, but as is, it's not that bad.

The user interface isn't always intuitive, but the included help has all the directions and I haven't had any problems.

5 stars for value, 4 for ease of use.
