Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I was debating between this pad and the Toughskin. The R-value on this pad is only .2 less than the Toughskin, 1 pound lighter, a packs smaller. Not to say that the Toughskin is bad, just that unless your camping on rocks and cacti, you wont need it. This pad will do all that you ask of it; warmth, packabilty, inflation ease.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad - Regular:
I took this sleeping pad on a Mission trip to Sudan this summer and really enjoyed it. We were limited on weight and space so we looked for light weight products that would meet our needs and this pad lived up to my expectations. I used it both with my sleeping bag at night and to rest from the 100+ heat as needed during the day. Pad quickly filled when opened and rolled up easily back to it's original compact size when not in use.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad - Regular:
Now that I'm a little older (42) I have decided to give up my ten year old Thermarest for this thicker pad. I have to say it is much nicer. Well worth the extra space and weight.
Sad that now you have to buy the cover seperate from the pad. Back when I bought mine it came with it.

This thing is great. Inflates quickly and very comfortable to sleep on. Fits inside my military modular sleeping bag inbetween the bag and the gortex cover, so I'm waterproof.

Comments about Therm-a-Rest Trail Pro Sleeping Pad - Regular:
The trail pro provides comfort without sacrificing weight. I actually feel like I am on a bed when laying on it. Before buying it, I tested it out on hard concrete floor with various items underneath to simulate sticks and rocks, and I didn't feel a thing.
Although it does not come with its own stuff sack, I've found this isn't really necessary. You can easily purchase a cheap sack for it. I simply stuff mine in my backpack.
Sleepless nights in the back-country have kept me from going out more often, but now that I have the trail pro, I will be hitting the trail more often!
All in all, worth the weight, worth the price.
