          These hats were Christmas presents for the 6 guys in our family(age 9-60), such a hit I had to order 6 more for the gals(17-46). Hubby bought bulk lithium batteries(25 cents ea)so all got a couple replacement sets. Ours is a family of talkers. Hope you've stocked up...especially on spring model!

            If you're looking for a headlamp buy one. This hat is designed to help you out, not perform like a miner's lamp. It's perfect for reading maps, books or compasses in the dark and for the end of hikes when night catches you off guard. Lightweight and well vented this little guy is an all around great hat.

                  As soon as I saw this in the store I thought it was a useful item and a great idea. I got it, and tried it out. It works. Yes, it is not a spotlight, it is 3 rather bright LEDs, but in the pitch black you can see where you are going, and/or read something by this light. It is very useful, at least to me.

                  I have a very hard time finding hats that are big enough for my head, and even though this is a bit snug, it is not tight or uncomfortable.

                  Next edition should have a little mirror along the brim so I can see behind me when I am biking or walking. Great idea, very happy with it so far.

                        The idea of a lighted hat is great, but this hat doesn't deliver. The 3 LED's barely put out any light and the light it does put out is focused in a small area. Poor execution of a great idea
