The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Campware Nonstick Cookset - Medium:
Bought this cookset to meet the needs of a couple who tent camps. Couldn't ask for better. Lightweight, non-stick, and compact. Frying pans make awesome pot lids. Pots are big enough to easily make meals for two in. Also like the "scored bottom" feature that keeps the pots and frying pans from sliding around on the Coleman. Pot and pan handle is very intuitive/easy to use. No complaints whatsoever.

Comments about REI Campware Nonstick Cookset - Medium:
I got this set to cook for my family when we go backpacking. The pots are very good for non-stick, but that is all I like about them.
I found that they do not travel well. The pan/lid will not stay nested into the pot, so on the first trip the pots bent while in my pack. Without a secure lid, the pot is like a tin can with the top cut off: easy to crush. After three trips I am sick of re-bending the pots back to round to get the lid to fit on.
The handle works well if you don't have much in the large pot, but if you're over half full of water you better put on a glove to grab the other side of the pot or else you might tear the handle attachment bracket off the pot.
I also feel the orange towels included are not very absorbent and take forever to dry.
A few simple design changes would make it a great set, but as is it can not handle the standard abuse I expect of my gear.

I got this as a graduation gift, and man do I love it. I love gourmet cooking when camping, and this is a great set just for that. The non-stick is high quality, the pots are thick enough not to warp too much, and the size makes it the perfect range from 2 to 4 people (with some creativity, six would be easy too!)
I do a lot of bike touring and brought just the small pot and lid on a three night trip. With a campfire, some foil, and a MSR WindPro stove, it was fine for four people. I even threw the pot on some hot embers in the campfire to fry up some bacon while I made pancakes in the frying pan/lid on the stove. The pot stood up just fine in the campfire and the pan heated evenly for perfect pancakes. I can even fit (with some mad Tetris skills) a stainless mug, my stove, a Black Diamond Apollo lantern, the little grabber thing, a quick dry hand towel, a lighter, and some seasonings all in the small pot. You could too, if you wanted, use the lids as plates also, but you'd have to use plastic forks/spoons, and make sure not to scratch the non-stick. This is true for all non-stick pans.
I'm not TOO crazy about weight savings, especially when it comes to the camp kitchen, so this set is great for me. If I where going by myself, or the people I was going with all had their own gear, I would probably opt for a smaller/lighter set like the REI Ti Ware Cup and Pot set, or the Snow Peak 900 or Mini Solo cooksets. Also, if you are a major weight watcher and only boil water, then you could probably forgo the gourmet benefits of having even heating, non-sticking surfaces, and a large cooking area for something that is smaller and lighter.

For 3 of us, I have used this set on various trips, from kayak camping, where I only brought the small pot and pan to car camping trips that I used the whole set to make appetizers, dinner, and dessert. It is stable on our camping stove, washes up well, and light enough for us. I store my utensils and squishy cups and bowls inside the pots in the carry bag to keep it easy and small. A small cutting board, soap, and sponge also fit in the bag.

Comments about REI Campware Nonstick Cookset - Medium:
This is a great cookset for gourmet cooking on the trail. I got bored with the "add water to the bag" meals and I am not a minimalist so I thought I would pick up a cookset. This cookset is lightweight, durable, and easy to use. I especially like the double pot system and I use a double boil bake method to bake cinnamon rolls and corn bread on the trail which is always hit with people who haven't seen this method before. I have attached pictures to show how this is done. Cheers.

originally bought this for back packing because it is light, easy to clean and strong. Now I take it on my motorcycle for all the same reasons. I use the big lid as a plate. All you need is a spork and yer chowing down.

I bought this set so my lady and I could have more than just re-hydrated meals. This set it great!!! The pan fits securely onto the pot for a lid, and the grooves on the bottom of the pan work great. We use this set with our Jetboil PCS system (with pot stabilizer) and it is a perfect fit. The bottom of the pans hold up really well. I ran the Jetboil on full blast just to see if the pots would hold up. They still look absolutely brand new!!!!!
Great value, Great quality, Perfect size for 2-3 campers.

Comments about REI Campware Nonstick Cookset - Medium:
I picked these up on sale last week when I was stocking up on some gear for a trip up to the UP of Michigan. Wasn't planning on buying cookware, but I don't have any and figured it was too good of a deal to pass up. I definitely don't regret it. The lids/fry pans stack nicely into the pots so they don't take up too much room. I was shocked by how easy they were to clean - seriously, I almost want to go buy all new pans for my house because these were so easy. My only complaint is that the camp cloths or whatever those orange things were that were included almost seemed pointless. They were too thin to use as potholders, and too thick to use as a rag to clean them out with. Ultimately, those were a throw-away item for us, but otherwise a great product at a great price. Perfect for a camping trip with 2-3 people.

Comments about REI Campware Nonstick Cookset - Medium:
This cooking set is great. It packs well and is lightweight. The included sack makes packing and traveling very simple. Once you use them, you can feel their sturdiness and the handle gets a great grip when used. The pots and fryers are the perfect size for 1-4 people and the non-stick surface is of good quality. Also once they are packed, there is still room in the middle for 4 bowls, which helps if you are trying to keep the clutter down. Anyway, I really like this set and highly recommend it.
