The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Analog Travel Alarm Clock:
Foolproof to set, loud alarm. I have dropped it off the nightstand twice and it didn't break. Depite being analog, it is quiet- no annoying loud "tick tock" noise at night. Beware- no way to illuminate the hands in the dark, and no snooze setting. Build quality is fair to good for the price. It uses a button battery, I would prefer a AAA size for ease of replacement.

Comments about REI Analog Travel Alarm Clock:
I use this all the time on business trips. Simple design, easy to set time/alarm, progressive alarm volume ensures I'll eventually wake up even when wearing earplugs. That's pretty much all I ask from an alarm clock, so it suits my needs nicely. I remove the battery when I'm not using the alarm and keep it (plus a spare) in a mini-ziploc tucked into the edge of the case, so I actually like the smaller-sized button battery.

Comments about REI Analog Travel Alarm Clock:
I work in Afghanistan and often need to catch Marine Air in the wee hours so I needed an alarm clock. This one works but the battery is small and needs to be replaced frequently. More importantly, the battery is an unusual size (not AAA, not AA, etc.)so is not found in the field. This may be OK for Stateside use but even so I would opt for one that runs on AA or AAA.

Comments about REI Analog Travel Alarm Clock:
Bought this for an extended trip in SE Asia, didn't test before the trip but the alarm feature didn't work upon arrival. We bought the alarm clock for the alarm so annoying that was the feature that didn't work.
