The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Initially, I used a Cat Eye as my front and rear lights. Planet Bike has outdone themselves with the Superflash/Blaze light set. I don't think I've ever looked into a rear blinky and had the image of the light burned into my retina after I closed my eyes before. If you commute during dawn/dusk and very dark conditions, these are your lights.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
These lights are terrific for the price!
The headlight emits a nice, bright bluish white light. It has both flash and solid modes.
The rear safety light is very bright with 3 LEDs. It also has a flash mode with a crazy flash pattern that really can't be ignored and really gets noticed. It also has a solid on mode. I have 2 of these, one which I put in flash mode to help get noticed and the other I put on solid to help indicate my position to motorists.
The only cons I would say with these lights is that the batteries aren't rechargable and they don't have any sort of battery life indicator.
However, for the price, these lights are fantastic! Top-notch product! I'm actually about to purchase these for my son. I would recommend them to anyone seeking some good safety lights that won't break the bank.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Until you lose it, the taillight is great (I have no complaints with the headlight, and would rate it 5 stars). Unfortunately, the design of the taillight mounting bracket makes it very easy to lose the taillight when you hit a bump. Mine lasted a few weeks only. Of course you could say it was my fault, when I lost the taillight the first time, but found it, and didn't duct tape it to the mount. But I didn't, and two days later lost it for good. [Technical description: the taillight will easily bend toward the seat post over time, as you go over bumps. Eventually the clip will touch the seat post. A few more bumps and the latch will become 'unlocked.' A few more bumps and the light will jump out of the bracket. You may not notice when this happens; if you don't, goodbye light.]

Easy front mounting, smaller than the Cateyes. The rear blinky stands out, it will blind you..I have a Topeak rear rack, and had to buy an extra $5 Planet bike rack bracket that screws to the rack's tailight holes. Once done, easy and secure.A bit hard to find, they should make it easier to get. Planet Bike SKU #3108, Taillight Rack Bracket.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
I ride my bike more than I drive, and I don't like to carry my lights when I lock my bike, so these lights are well priced for something that could get ripped off unlike some [$]lights that are better for trail-riding. I have never seen a rear light brighter then this one, and the front light works great for making those potholes stick out, while casting it's glow at least 200 feet making you clearly visible from a distance.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
I work in the evenings and commute RT 12 miles, so lighting and attention is very important for me. Owned this for a month and have not ridden in rain yet but so far I am highly satisfied. The front is a little better than average but the back light is out of this world. Wish there was more mounting options so I can tie a 2nd pair maybe on my other handlebar and back pack.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Debated over lights because of all the options and prices. After several recommendations form cycle shops (all picked this set) I am glad I purchased. Very bright front and rear. Front light will light up reflective signs / material for blocks.
My only con is mounting, I have a Topeak Rack and wish there was a more secure mount bracket for it, however it works just fine.
If it ever fail's, I would purchase another in a second.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Bought this combo last year; the lights are great. Discovered that when the headlight was on "flash", my heart rate monitor would shoot up to 300+. No prob, just quit using flash. Changed wireless cyclocomputers, the heart rate's fine; but now, if the light's on flash, my speed is over 40. If the light's on steady, the speedo doesn't work at all. VERY disappointing!

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Originally, I went in only looking to get the rear blinkie. But I saw the combo and figured why not. The rear blnkie is the best there is. The major drawback...and this is the same for almost every rear blinkie I've used or seen is that they don't come with rack bracket mounts. Only seat post or clip mounts. So I took an L-type bracket, mounted that to my rack and then took the screw and removable thread lock thing as the bolt and mounted the light horizontally to the L-type bracket. Works like a charm, although not the most asthetic. However, Planet Bike does sell the rear rack mount for cheap and now that I'm aware of that, I'll probably pick one up. Maybe even two.
The 1/2 watt front light is a good blinkie but not a good head headlight. It really doesn't light the way, but is sufficiently bright enough as a blinkie for any conditions including daytime use.
If you don't need a headlight, this combo is good. If you need to the light the road/trail, just get the rear blinkie and fork out for a nicer headlight system.

Comments about Planet Bike Superflash / Blaze Bike Light Set:
Good for dusk, dawn, urban streets or returning home late. Not the brightest, but you're not paying a premium. Easy to install. I use it constantly and don't regret the purchase.
